Navisworks software is a 3D Design Review package system. Navisworks is available for Microsoft Windows. NavisWorks software was initially created by Sheffield, UK. NavisWorks, UK based developer a subordinate of Lightwork Design. Navisworks also known as JetStream. 

On 1 June, 2007, NavisWorks was acquired by Autodesk in cash for $25 million. Navisworks is used mainly in construction businesses to supplement 3D Design Suites. The 3D Design Suites are Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and MicroStation. Navisworks software permits user to built-up and assemble 3D Models, Pilot around them in real-time. Navisworks software permits user to assessment the model using a set of tools containing remarks, redlining, perspective, and dimensions. Navisworks software used a set of plug-ins to enhance its capability.

After 2007, Navisworks is developed by Autodesk. In 2007, Autodesk released Navisworks 5.5. Navisworks is 3D Computer Graphics type software. Navisworks license type is Proprietary.

Navisworks (JetStream) is constructed about a core module named Roamer. Roamer has a several of plug-in modules that can be acquired individually. Roamer plug-ins are –

Roamer permits user to built-up models from a variety of 3D design and laser scan formats. Roamer permits user to assemble them into a single 3D model. Publisher permits user to distribute the complete 3D model into a single .nwd file that can be easily unlocked by anybody using freedom, a free viewer. Clash Detective permits user to allow interference detection. Users can picks parts of the model and aspect for spaces wherever the geometry conflicts. This is for discovery errors in the design. Presenter permits user to relate materials and lighting to model and create photorealistic images and animations. TimeLiner permits user to enhances 4D simulation so the user can connection geometry to times and dates and to pretend the production or destruction of the model over time. Also associates with project scheduling software like Microsoft Project or Primavera products to import mission files. RVM Reader permits user to enhance the capability to load .rvm and related .rvs files created by AVEVA Plant Design Management System (PDMS).

Navisworks also provisions extra suites over exporters like: Autodesk Revit, MicroStation, 3DS Max, ArchiCAD.
